What is the minimum admission age?
The minimum admission age for all courses is 16 years old. Students from group may have less than 16 years old if a group leader adult is with them.
What do I have to take with me to the Institute on the first day of classes?
For the first day of classes, Derzhavin Institute asks you to be in possession of your passport (with the Russian visa), your immigration card, a small ID photo (for the student card) and a burning desire to start speaking Russian!
What is included in the Tuition fee?
The tuition fee includes: course as specified, placement test both written and oral, school materials, certificate awarded upon completion of the classes and some social activities (Lesson Craft Russian, Russian song and Observation of Russian films).
What is a registration fee?
The registration fee is paid once (upon the enrollement of all courses). It covers the visa support and registration on the russian territory, the student card, the welcoming information folder, the free and unlimited Internet access, and supplementaries tea and coffee.
Is the Institute closed for any holidays?
Derzhavin Institute is closed on the following days off: FEBRUARY 23, MAY 1, 9, JUNE 12, NOVEMBER 4. It is also closed for Christmas holidays from December 31, 2015 to January 10, 2016.
A reduction in fees is made if the program chosen by the student is on a holiday period.
All students have free access to the Internet on the Institute`s computers as well as free WiFi access thanks to their own devices.
