The Potseluev Bridge is a bridge across the Moika River, near the Mariinsky Theater. It owes its name to the 18th century merchant Potseluev who ran a tavern nearby called “Potselui” (a kiss). Tradition has it that newlyweds should kiss when crossing the bridge in order to have a long and happy family life.

2. The St. Isaac Cathedral Colonnade
